合氣道唯心会 会主 田添祥雄

私はこの度、丸山維敏先生の御指名により第二代合氣道唯心会会主を襲名することになりました。正直なところ丸山先生の偉大な合氣道にどれ程近づけるかは分かりませんが、先生の教えに従い、肩の力を抜いて「何とかなる！」の氣概を持って前進したいと思います。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　私は18歳より丸山先生の御指導を受けてこれまで50年近く合氣道を続けて参りました。その結果、多くの素晴らしい先輩、友人に恵まれ、仕事も無事にやり遂げることが出来ました。また、家庭にも恵まれ、素晴らしい命の絆を繋ぐことが出来き、これ以上の幸せな人生は無いとの思いで毎日を生きております。私に残された人生に於いての目標は唯一つ、「できる限りの人を幸せにすること」と考えております。私は、唯心会の合氣道を通してこの目標を少なからず達成できると信じております。そう考えるに至り、先生の合氣道を続けて参りたいと考えました。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　現在の世界を見ると大国が小国に対して武力を行使して戦争を起こし、罪の無い人達がその尊い命を奪われています。歴史を紐解くまでも無く、日本も同様に無用で悲惨な戦争を経験しております。私は、合氣道の精神を世界の人が持っていれば、こうした人が人を傷つける様なことは絶対に無いと信じております。今こそ、私達の合氣道を世に広めていきたいと思います。引き続き特段のご厚誼を賜りますようにお願い申し上げます。

Greetings

I have recently been appointed as the second head of Aikido Yuishinkai, following the mission of Maruyama Koretoshi sensei. To be honest, I don't know how close I can come to Master Maruyama's great Aikido, but I intend to follow his teachings, relax, and go forward with the spirit of "I can do it!"

I have been practicing Aikido for nearly 50 years, since I was 18, under the guidance of Maruyama sensei. As a result, I have been blessed with many wonderful seniors and friends, and have been able to successfully complete my work. Furthermore, I have been able to forge strong bonds of life within my family, and I live with the belief that there is no happier life than this. My only goal for the rest of my life is to "make as many people happy as possible." I believe that I can achieve this goal to some extent through Aikido of Yuishinkai. It is with this belief that I continue to practice Master Maruyama's Aikido.

Looking at the world today, great nations use military force against smaller nations, starting wars, and innocent people are losing their precious lives. Without even needing to delve into history, Japan has also experienced a similarly needless and tragic war. I believe that if people around the world embraced the spirit of Aikido, such acts of harming one another would never occur. Now more than ever, I want to spread our Aikido to the world. I humbly ask your continued support and friendship.
